This small site has 57 grass pitches for caravans or motorhome and just one for a tent it is directly alongside the A836 Thurso/John o'Groats road and separated by a fence however the traffic during our stay was mainly light holiday traffic during the day and pretty well non-existent at night. the boundary opposite the road is the seashore accessed by a short flight of private steps. The beach is completely unspoilt with nothing but sea, sand and glorious fresh air.
The site, although without any hardstanding pitches at all, is of the usual Caravan Club standard with spotless facilities and grounds that are a great credit to the friendly and helpful wardens.
The very strange one way system on the site contrives to keep you on the site roads for the longest possible time when by reversing some of the side road directions would give much more efficiency to the site access. This is similar to other club sites we have visited it's as if the person who decides this policy is not a driver.
