Bunree Caravan Club site must be one of the most stunningly beautiful sites they run, it is on the banks of Loch Linnie and looks across the Loch to the mountains behind. The site which has 99 hardstanding pitches is arranged and set in such a way that as many pitches as possible get a clear view of the loch, the loch side pitches being strictly "no awnings" and loch side pitches cannot be booked in advance.
There is nothing I need say about the toilet or shower facilities as they are the usual high standard we expect of all CC sites. The grounds are likewise immaculately kept. The site is far enough away from the nearest road to make it a very peaceful place to be.
This area is known for it's midges, which are forecast to be nuisance value 4 on a scale of 1 - 5 today but as I write this we have yet to encounter them.
