The site at the top of a very steep hill is quite large made up of a series of terraces which give it a far more intimate feeling than is often the case with a site this size. It is open all year as it seems is the shop, restaurant and other site facilities. The shop keeps a reasonable range of goods but its prices are high. We did not try the restaurant but it seemed popular with a delicious smell of barbecuing ribs emanating from it each afternoon/evening.

There are several showers/toilet blocks the one we used was modern and clean, with toilet seats and paper but no soap or hand drying facilities. The showers are of a good size but are short on hooks for hanging your kit although there is a handy shelf that does the job.

Our pitch is large and such that we drove straight into it and will, when we leave be able to hitch up and drive straight off.

Electricity supply is 6amps while the minimum our heating/hot water system will draw is 5amps so we have to remember to turn  that off before putting the kettle on.

There is a small children's playground but no pool but as the site seems to be a base for keen athletic types, surfers, walkers, mountain bikers etc perhaps it is deemed unnecessary.

This area is a favourite holiday region for the Spanish and close enough to town to walk but on the way back it is uphill and VERY VERY steep.

There is an open headland outside the site that was, last night, occupied by a surprisingly large number of people enjoying a fabulous sunset over the mountains.

Some of the staff speak English and all of them have been pleasant and eager to help. This is a site we would certainly recommend but I would think you would need to book early for a pitch in the summer.
